maybe boycott all the music that the surviving members are playing too? past and present?
I don't think Vince's relationship with Bobby was as simplistic or abusive as rumored/alleged. Takes two to dance.
Wonder what Bob's side to the story of their falling out in 1995 is?
Vince dies(and i hope it was not suicide, which is a cop out) and the bitterness begins.
Rest in PEACE, Vince! And God bless the rest

Rastamon,
I also hope that Vince did not commit suicide, not because it is a copout, as you so crassly put it, but that it would just indicate how deep his pain and sorrow actually was.
I do boycott all their music, past and present. I haven't bought any GD related music or merch since last Thanksgiving. Prior to that I spent literally tens of thousands of dollars over 30 odd (And they were quite odd....lol) years, purchasing most of what was offered commercially and for the live experience, however, I will not send any more money their way.
I also refuse to feel hypocritical or guilty about my live collection for 2 reasons:
1) I took Jerry at his word when he said that after they played it the music belonged to us
2) Because until all of the ugliness of the last half year or so, (including Bob's "See Ya" comments, the general dismissiveness of Deadheads in their comments after the pulling of the SBDs, and the reports {which I do believe} about the treatment of Vince) I did spend a significant portion of my income loyally supporting the Grateful Dead and all related projects.
Respect should be a 2-way street as well, and I have not seen GDM or most of those associated with them (with the exception of the Barlowe) showing appreciation for what were the most loyal fans in music.

REST IN PEACE, Vince.
